Concept of Sacrifice ritual in other major religions.
Hinduism.

in the 'Shraddha' and a 'Yagya' denigrates from his position.

"Svayambhu (the Self-existent)
himself created animals for the sake of sacrifices; sacrifices (have been
instituted) for the good of this whole (world); hence the slaughtering for sacrifices is not slaughtering (in the ordinary
sense of the word)
Rigveda 1/162/3 says
This goat, the portion of Pushan, fit for all
the gods, is brought first with the fleet courser, so that Twashtri may prepare
him along with the horse, as an acceptable preliminary offering for the
(sacrificial) food.
Atharva veda Chapter 9 Section 4 Verse 1
"The Brahman after killing the bull,
offers its meat to the different deities. In this hymn, the bull is praised,
detailing which parts of the bull are attached to which deity as well as the
importance of sacrificing the bull and the rewards of doing the same.
Manu Smruti, in chapter 5 verse 30
"The eater who eats the flesh of those to be eaten does nothing bad, even if he does it day after day, for God himself created some to be eaten and some to be eater."

served in the 'shraddha and 'Madhupark' becomes animal after his death for
consecutive 21 births."
Manu Smruti, that is, chapter 5 verse 31 says
"Eating meat is right for the sacrifice, this is traditionally known as a rule of the gods."

Manu Smruti chapter 5 verse 40 says
"God himself created sacrificial animals
for sacrifice, ...., therefore killing in a sacrifice is not killing."

That is, "Inspired by Indrani (The
wife of Indra), the performers of the Yagyas sacrifice 15 or 20 oxen and cook
their meat for me. Eating these animals i am getting fat.
In India during the Vedic period,
saints observed Nara Medhya Yagnam (Cow body sacrifice), and Ashwa Medhya
Yagnam (Horse body sacrifice)

Swami Vivekanand said: “You will be surprised
to know that according to ancient Hindu rites and rituals, a man cannot be a
good Hindu who does not eat beef”. (The Complete Works of Swami Vivekanand, Vol.3,
p. 536).
Mukandilal writes in his book ‘Cow Slaughter – Horns of a Dilemma’, page 18: “In ancientIndia ,
cow-slaughter was considered auspicious on the occasions of some ceremonies.
Bride and groom used to sit on the hide of a red ox in front of the ‘Vedi’
(alter).”
Adi Shankaracharya’ commentary on Brihdaranyakopanishad 6/4/18 says : ‘Odan’ (rice) mixed with meat is called ‘Mansodan’. On being asked whose meat it should be, he answers ‘Uksha’. ‘Uksha’ is used for an ox, which is capable to produce semen.
